URGENT CARE CLINICS
Your own PCP (Primary Care Physician) is the first person to talk to when you need care for a non-emergency medical condition.
If you have a sudden medical problem and cannot get an appointment to see your regular doctor, an Urgent Care Center is also a good way to get help. Urgent Care Centers are a cost effective way to get non-emergent care. In general, a visit to an Urgent Care Center will cost you eight to ten times less than a visit to the Emergency Room.
In case of an emergency dial 911 or go to the Emergency Room when you think it is necessary.
Urgent Care Centers are a good choice if you can’t get in to see your PCP and it is not a life threatening emergency.
